This Mental Health Toolbox is designed to help build tools for a healthy way of living.
This first tool is centered around identifying feelings and emotions, as well as some other key tools. Often times, when I’m working with clients, being able to correctly identify how they are feeling can be challenging. Clients found the feeling wheel and other key components is this Mental Health toolbox very helpful. Clients became more confident in articulating their feelings and emotions.
I just didn’t want to limit my expertise with the clients I work with, I wanted to reach a larger audience and help people become comfortable with discussing Mental Health and the benefits of therapy.

JANICE S. BROWN, LCPC-S
I hold three degree’s and their all from HBCU’s. And I am very proud of that accomplishment. I’ve been a licensed clinical Mental Health Therapist for 10yrs and in private practice for 8yrs. However, I’ve been in this field for over 20yrs. I just didn’t get things together until my 30’s. Which means it’s never too late to fulfill a DREAM!!
Walk with me, as I help normalize mental health and therapy.

The reason this toolbox is essential is because we can’t continue to ignore that Mental Health is a real thing. Look, we get physical’s annually, go to the dentist 2x year, get eyes checked 1x year but yet we ignore the BRAIN. That just doesn’t sit right with me, nor does it sound healthy when we truly think about it.
Question is.. What’s the reason we ignore what’s happening in our head or how we are feeling? What about our childhood and how it plays out in adulthood?
The list of questions could go on and on for days. This is my way of providing a tool that will help JUMP START that MENTAL HEALTH JOURNEY FOR YOU!!
